‘It Takes A Muscle’ in Rom-Com ‘Straight Up’ 2019
Exciting news ! ‘It Takes A Muscle To Fall In Love’ is featured in The film “Straight Up” of LA-basedValparaiso Pictures and has its world premiere at Frameline Fest in San Francisco June 24, and then will be the Breakthrough Centerpiece at Outfest Los Angeles LGBTQ Film Festival presented by HBO.
On Netflix in the summer of 2020.
The film is based on Sweeney’s short Normal Doors, which tells the story of an OCD gay twenty-something who finds his intellectual soul mate in a struggling actress. David Carrico is producing through his Valparaiso banner alongside Ross Putman.
Todd and Rory are intellectual soul mates. He might be gay. She might not care. A romantic-comedy drama with a twist; a love story without the thrill of copulation.
